What can I add into my reindeer gift bags?
There are so many yummy holiday treats you can add into your gift bags! Here are some tasty and holiday inspired ideas:
Hershey’s hugs and kisses Trail mix or mixed nuts Candy canes Christmas shaped candy, like a chocolate Santa or snowman Chocolate bar (add in their favourite!) Chocolate covered pretzels Homemade cookies (it’s the perfect way to package your cookie exchange goodies!) Small bag of caramel corn
But you don’t have to limit yourself to snacks. Here are some fun non-food items that are small enough to fit in these gift bags:
Keychain Socks Pen Lip balm Mini hand sanitizer Tealight candle Pocket notebook Small Christmas ornament Hot chocolate packet Stickers
What size bag are these templates for? Do I have to use the template?
The templates are made for paper bags are 5 inches wide. The antlers are roughly 3-1/4 inches tall and 1-3/4 inches wide, while the ears are 2 inches tall and 1-1/4 inches wide. If your bag is larger, scale the template up before printing. And you definitely don’t have to use the template if you don’t want to. Feel free to make your gift bag totally unique by drawing your own antlers and ear shapes!
Do I need a white paint pen to make a reindeer gift bag?
We used a white paint pen to add details to our reindeer gift bags, but there are definitely other options if you don’t have one. Try using a white gel pen, wite-out correction fluid, or even a fine tip brush and acrylic paint. You can also use a white colored pencil or crayon, though they probably won’t show up quite as well.
These reindeer gift bags are just the cutest way to wrap up your holiday treats! Made with simple paper lunch bags and a little crafting magic, these Christmas gift bags are fun for both kids and adults. They’re such a whimsical and creative way to elevate your gift-giving this season!
