Do the pretzel shamrocks need to be refrigerated?
No, the shamrock pretzel pops can be kept at room temperature, so long as they’re out of direct sunlight and away from high temperatures. If you’d like to refrigerate them, however, you can – I actually think they taste better that way!
How long will the pretzel shamrocks last?
These coated pretzels should last 1 – 2 weeks if stored at room temperature in an airtight container. They will last 2 – 3 weeks in the fridge. We just ate some that had been in the fridge for over a week and they tasted just as good as on the first day!
How else can I decorate my shamrock pretzels?
These fun St. Patrick’s Day treats can be decorated in a number of ways. You can use different types of sprinkles, like green sanding sugar or green and white nonpareils. You can even buy St. Patrick’s Day sprinkles with little shamrock shapes in them! Plus you could add a chocolate to the center of each shamrock for a tasty and decorative touch. Try a green M&M, or even a yellow M&M to represent a gold coin! (Leprechauns love those.)
We love how fast these pretzel shamrocks come together and how cute and festive they are. Wouldn’t they also look great added to the top of a St. Patrick’s Day cupcake or dessert?! So fun!
