Where I live, there are tons of sunflowers popping up at the end of summer and the beginning of fall. I just love how huge they can get. There are so many beautiful variations of sunflowers and I don’t think there is a more cheerful flower out there. A few years ago, my daughter brought home a tiny sunflower seed that she had planted in a cup in school. She randomly found a spot in the front yard and buried her little seed. We forgot it was there until a sunflower plant started coming up in the summer. By the end of summer, the sunflower had become so huge that it was taller than me! It was so exciting for her to see her little seed grow into something so huge. These pipe cleaner sunflower may not be huge, but they sure are are fun to make. It’s a great craft for either summer or fall. These little guys would look so cute sitting on a desk or window sill and will brighten up any space!
I loved these pipe cleaner flowers and wanted to try making a sunflower version. I love how they turned out!
