We used Crayola washable markers for this craft, but you can also use Mr. Sketch markers. (Do you remember those smelly markers?? I was so excited to see that they still sell them!!) Just make sure the markers are washable, otherwise the colours won’t bleed. Even my 4 year old little guy wanted to make one (mostly because he reeeeeeally loves colouring coffee filters and watching the colours change when you get them wet....
Just like a paper snowflake, all you need is a square of paper and some scissors. Then it’s as simple as cutting out a spiderweb pattern and unfolding your creation. I’m always so impressed with how beautiful they look once you open them up! I hate spiders. I really do. Is there anything better than fresh peaches? My mom used to buy the freshest peaches she could find, blanch them to remove the skin and we’d eat them by the bowl full. I think there might have been angelfood cake and whipping cream involved as well? (My family ate a LOT of angelfood cake when I was growing up.) But I just remember those yummy peaches! Really all you need are a few fresh apples and a few tea lights. I used green apples (Granny Smith), but you could just as easily use red. The firmer the apple the better, or you might have trouble cutting out the middle. Just try to find a few that are similar shapes and sizes.
