Helpful Tips:
How do you draw a bunny for beginners?
Take your time, have patience, and be kind to yourself! Drawing a bunny is all about having fun and putting simple shapes and lines together. Make the drawing one line at a time. It’s okay to start with a pencil outline and erase any lines that you’re not happy with!
Do I have to draw the bunny with a carrot?
No! You can easily change the design of your bunny, using the same basic concept. First draw the head, then change the body however you like. See below for our Year of the Rabbit Bunny and Easter Egg Bunny:
What type of paper works best for these bunny drawings?
You can use any kind of paper you’d like to draw your bunny! We used regular printer paper to draw ours. Drawing paper, or sketch paper, is nice to draw on, because it’s easier to erase lines on this thicker paper. And marker paper is great, because the ink from the markers won’t bleed through the page!
What pens and markers are recommended for drawing?
Thicker pens or markers are nice for drawing the bunny because they give you a good outline. We used specific marker pens that are made for art, but you can definitely just use a Sharpie marker! For colouring in the bunnies we used regular Crayola markers, but you can also use colored pencils or even crayons.
