I have a confession: I’m obsessed with the dollar store. I literally get giddy when I leave the store with a bag of goodies that I scored for only $1. In fact, I wrote a post all about the top 10 best things to buy at the Dollar Tree. I think one of the best parts of the dollar store is the craft section. Every time I walk down that aisle, I find something I haven’t seen before. It’s like a treasure hunt! I have seen moss, washi tape, wreath forms, faux birds, wired ribbon and the list goes on and on. See, I told you I was obsessed! So if you weren’t already a dollar store lover like me, hopefully I have convinced you. This project was made from materials that I found for just $1! Even if you don’t have a dollar store in your area, this is still a super frugal DIY and couldn’t be easier. I love how pretty mine turned out and I did it all while my kids napped. The perfect afternoon project!
Not only are these glass bead candle holders pretty during the day, but they cast the most beautiful shadows when lit up at night.
