Do you need a pom pom maker to make this pom pom bunny?
No need to buy any special tools to make a pom pom! We like to avoid using extra gadgets if possible, and you can make an awesome pom pom just with your hand!
What type of yarn works best to make these pom pom bunnies?
We like using acrylic yarn, since it’s inexpensive and easy to work with. For these pom pom bunnies we used the Craft Smart yarn from Michaels in pastel colours. Chunky yarn is another great option, because you can make really full pom poms using less yarn. You can also use cotton yarn to make a pom pom bunny. The ends of the cotton yarn come apart a little bit, which gives the bunnies a really fuzzy look.
Do I have to use the bunny template?
The bunny template makes this pom pom craft super easy, but you definitely don’t have to use it. Feel free to get creative and draw your own bunny outline!
Use white, gray, or brown yarn to make a natural coloured pom pom bunny, or have fun with pastel colours, perfect for spring. Either way these bunnies will make a super cute addition to your Easter decor!
