These apple shaped stress balls are such a perfect back to school craft. And all you need is a balloon and a bit of flour! No matter how your kids might deal with school, chances are there will be stressful days. Not only do they look super cute, but they are so fun to squeeze and play with, especially if you have a nervous child that needs to do something with his or her hands. These little apples would also be a super cute teacher gift along with a gift card!

What else can I use to fill the stress ball?
Flour is a great way to fill a homemade stress ball, but you can also use rice, water beads, or even play dough to fill your balloon. Each ingredient will give a slightly different feeling to the stress ball.
What size balloon works best?
Homemade stress balls work best with a latex or rubber balloon that is at least 8 inches in size (it will say on the package of balloons how big they are). If you have larger balloons, those will also work. I don’t recommend balloons that are smaller than 8 inches because they won’t be large enough to squeeze.
How to Make Apple Shaped Stress Balls
These flour stress balls are such a cute and affordable back to school craft! Just a warning, these tend to pop or break over time if they are played with a lot, so you may want to toss them after a few weeks! I was inspired by this stress ball craft but wanted to make a version that was perfect for back to school!
