Last year, our youngest was only 4 weeks old at Christmas, so my poor husband was left wrapping all of the kids’ gifts on Christmas Eve – right after he finished building the girls’ massive doll house. I was pacing in and out of the room, rocking and bouncing my baby boy (who didn’t sleep then, and still doesn’t sleep now…) micromanaging the wrapping. I’m pretty sure we argued the whole time… Lack of sleep and all, plus my husband hates when I hover… poor guy.

My former sister in law (long story…) wraps presents beautifully. Like amazing. She wraps them exactly like the presents you are going to see in the list below. She’d walk in with her pile of kraft paper packages with velvet ribbons, fresh greenery and perfect labels, and I’d walk in with my uneven stack of barely taped shut presents. sigh Do you have someone like that in your family? Or maybe you’re that person? (I’d love to be that person someday…).

24 Clever Christmas Wrapping Hacks

Now, I’m not going to say this list of Christmas wrapping hacks is going to magically make you more organized. I know it’s definitely not going to make ME more organized. But maybe it will inspire you to start wrapping your gifts a few days before Christmas rather than the night before. And maybe, just MAYBE, you can be that person with the amazingly wrapped gifts.
