With three young kids, we are lucky if we have time to mow the lawn before the grass gets dangerously close to the kids’ knees. (Kids are short though, right?) Last summer, I’m pretty sure my husband mowed the lawn five times. Total. LOL It was a particularly dry summer, but still. Our poor neighbours! To make it even worse, my kids LOVE dandelions. What kid doesn’t? And let me tell you, our little yard is full of them! So when the dandilions turn into fuzzy puff balls, I hear an evil laugh inside my head when the kids pick every last fluffy ball in the yard and blow them into the air. It makes me feel like we’re restoring the balance in the neighbourhood. haha

Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE gardening, I just don’t have time these days to make it beautiful. I have lots of good intentions though! And these garden projects are such an awesome place to start with some fun garden inspiration!
