A few years ago my husband and I were in Sears and there was some gadget demonstration going on where they gave us free plastic orange peelers. I’m pretty sure it was before we had kids? So we waited around for about half an hour so we could get our free orange peeler. Looking back, the thought of waiting around so long for such a simple kitchen gadget seems crazy, but you know what?...

Once we had to run to the store on Halloween night to get more candy because we ran out, and I’m pretty much scarred from that experience. (But in case you’re wondering, the candy was already on sale. Bargain!) Now I buy two or three big Costco boxes of mini chocolate bars at the beginning of September each year (and I eat a bunch of it before Halloween…), and then we get about 50 trick-or-treaters....

When my kids were toddlers, they were super picky. And I went through a brief period where I made all sorts of “healthy” muffins. I tried all those muffin recipes that had hidden zucchini in them. Or pureed carrot. Along with apple sauce – because they were supposed to be healthy muffins, right? But when I took a little bite, my eyebrows would go through the roof and I’d start questioning the whole thing....

Place the cauliflower heads into a large food processor. I tried the Blendtec, and sadly, it failed me. Definitely do this with a food processor. Pulse it until it has turned into tiny snow like pieces. Place the cauliflower snow into a microwavable dish, cover and microwave for about 4 or 5 minutes. Lay it out on a paper towel and a clean tea towel to cool off. Make sure you wait for it to cool off....

Now, I’m not going to lie to you. If I had to say whether the difficulty level of these cherry tomato tulips was easy, medium or hard, I would say the difficulty level is hard. They were really finicky. It was difficult to get them to look nice without getting little dabs of filling everywhere. It takes a little bit of patience, so if you decide to make them, make sure you leave yourself lots of time....

It is so incredibly simple! All you need is a can of good quality coconut milk and a hand mixer. Put the can of coconut milk in the fridge for at least 5 hours (overnight would be better) to get it to solidify and then whip it up like you’d whip regular whipped cream. Make sure you buy a can of full fat coconut milk. And make sure to get one that doesn’t have any emulsifiers in it....
